i’m also a major plane person and while i can see the connection to jet designs i mostly see “sexless minimalist shape” rather than “aerodynamic beast” a big part of the reason these aesthetics work so well on planes is because they’re HUGE and therefore very grand and dominating in your vision - it’s an incredibly imposing presence. the danger and power is felt in the negative space. you lose that effect on a small scale a relatively human sized car doesn’t have that advantage so they rely on sweeping body lines and areas distinguished through distinct angles that complement each other, as well as small bodywork accents choices. i’m not sure this design has a recognizably distinct silhouette. it kinda blends together to me. this is more cyberpunk/futurism-spectacle art than something for car people!! its just different.
