It turns out that elephants find us cute (the same part of their brain lights up for us as does in ours when we look at puppies). And they're indeed quite nice to us despite being capable of killing us! AIs might be too smart for that though. Elephants go through nightmare scenarios where all the adorable, tiny-nosed, big-eyed humans march up with guns and start killing everyone. My hot take is that anti-intellectualism and anti-semitism are flip sides of the same coin. The idea is something like "we were better off when we were peasants/hunter-gatherers/17th-century early-moderns" and Jews represent the forces of progress/intellectualism/technological advance that destroyed that lofty past.
